Notes

Note: This is an imperfect recording, to say the least. There is a mono passage (loose plug) and small gap in Second That Emotion, and a longer gap in Don't Let Go. Batteries failed (damn rechargables!) during the last song, now faded out; and the encore (How Sweet It Is) is missing. Finally, I missed the first few seconds of music in the second set (Money Honey) due to a tape jam. It was a wild night! However, the band was on fire, and this is a special venue where Jerry played many times, including his first (unannounced) shows back after his coma in 1986. The crowd was wild, Liquid Lights were trippy, and the band responded. I've never seen Melvin interact with the audience so much! And Judith and Mary, the backing singers, are totally settled in and confident. So I hope you'll check out this recording, flaws and all. The sound is sharp, intense and full (like the room), with all instruments heard clearly. Enjoy!
